Hollow Down and The God Damn band are swinging through Colorado Springs for their first stop at the legendary Thrasher's Bar! We're stoked to be joined by Pueblo's own 3rd World Country and Western music group The Assault Shakers. See y'all out there

Hollow Down

At turns haunting, uplifting, and energizing, Hollow Down is not afraid to go wherever the wind takes them. Currently the powerhouse duo of Perry Brubaker on upright bass and Jon Howard on guitar, it is surprising to witness the full sound created by these two on acoustic instruments. Each show is an adventure, weaving elements of country, blues, jazz, and punk rock into a heady mix that can only be described as "Hollow Down". In summer of 2026, the band is excited to welcome friends Michael Strike (sax) and Nick Fairley (percussion) along for a run of Colorado shows.

The God Damn Band

The God Damn Band is an always morphing eclectic bonanza of what some would call a brand new version of the same old razzle dazzle. At times The God Damn Band is only Michael Str!ke playing too many instruments at once, or sometimes 100 members strong

Get ready for an amazing weekend of live music with local bands and bands from the Chicago land area. There will be instrumental jams along with psychedelic grooves and improvisational energy. Get ready to have a unforgettable live experience 🚀 This will be a family friendly event with fun activities for kids all weekend There is camping where you may bring tents, campers, RVs at no extra charge. This is a primitive event so there will not be water or power hookups. Event is held at Peoria Motorcycle Club!!! Please follow the Open Skies Music festival page on FB.

This is the first year of this festival that originated in my backyard with a dream 9 years ago.

Gates will open at 12pm on Friday July 17th with music starting at 6pm and run through Saturday July 18th at midnight. Gates for one day passes will open on Sat at 9am

July 18th we will hold Yoga with Ashley Starry at 10am then following a sound bath with Flowting Feather at 11am. Music Sat will begin at 12 noon.

2 Day weekend passes with camping are $50. Tickets can be bought from me or at Moon Dancer or at the gate day of. There will be a Saturday one day only with camping and tickets are $30.

Tickets for both passes can also be found online at Event Brite. These will be $50 for 2 day plus fees and $30 for 1 day plus fees
